Bighorn has designed, manufactured, and marketed industry-leading ATVs, UTVs, golf carts, and electric vehicles for the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America since 1998.

We made our first breakthrough in the powersports industry in 2001 when we introduced the world's first 260cc ATV. With a liquid-cool engine and an unbeatable price, the Bighorn 260 ATV offered a unique combination of performance, affordability, and durability that made it a market leader in ATVs.

We continued to pushed the envelope in powersports introducing our first line of UTVs in 2005 and the world's first multi-purpose UTV/Golf Cart vehicle, the Bighorn 200 GVX, in 2015. The 200 GVX multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) brings the durable and comfortable suspension of an off-road vehicle to farms, ranches, neighborhoods, and campground. 

 

In 2016, we introduced the Bighorn EV5, the world's first electric multi-purpose vehicle (MPV).  And in 2018, we introduced the Bighorn 200 GVXL, which expands the 200 GVX's range to hilly terrains.

In 2019, we introduced the Explorer 450. The most capable mid-size utility vehicle with versatility for work or leisure on farms, properties, worksites, or hunting grounds.

 

In 2020, we introduced the Explorer 450 Crew, the world's first 400cc class crew UTV. Accommodating 4-6 passengers, it also became available as an electric vehicle with an 8KW electric motor for indoor and emissions-free use.

In 2023, we introduced the Bighorn Explorer 550, a striking full-size crossover utility vehicle with ample seating and legroom. In 2024, we made heaters standard and provided the option for hard cab upgrades to offer customers comfort in challenging winter conditions.
